Over tightening your wheel nuts is a problem that could prove very costly! Not only could it damage your wheel by spraining or damaging wheel nuts, but it could also leave you stranded on the roadside if you get a flat tyre as you will be unable to remove the wheel.

The torque limiting socket set from PCL is a great solution to prevent that from ever happening! This 3 piece 1/2″ set has a unique clutch design with a teethed spring load mechanism. What this means is that you you cannot fasten the nuts beyond a torque of 100 Nm which will eliminate any chance of you spraining or damaging the wheel nuts.

Torque Limited Impact Socket Sets give you peace of mind in knowing that your wheels are safe and undamaged. Furthermore, the PCL set has a protective plastic sleeve which prevents scratches and damage to expensive alloy wheels.

Lastly, it’s important to note that you will need a torque wrench to tighten the wheel nuts to the recommended specification.
