PCL Vertex Range
PCL Vertex Couplings have a type 19 UK profile and are created to be less likely to accidentally disconnect when used in trailing hose applications. This makes them ideal for garages and workshops, especially when using hand held tyre inflators or air tools.
Vertex useful info:
– Nominal bore: 4.8mm
– Flow rate: 43 cfm @ 100 psi
– Maximum working pressure: 14 bar / 200 psi
– Temperature range: -40°C to 100°C
– Interchangeable with 〉 Rectus 19
The PCL Vertex coupling range is designed for for use on trailing hose applications.
And PCL now offer a 5-year Warranty on all their blue band couplings.

What's the difference between a Vertex coupling and an Airflow coupling?
Both the Vertex and Airflow couplings have a steel construction with an anti-corrosive finish. The Airflow coupling is suitable for most compressed air applications. However, the Vertex coupling has a double action mechanism which makes it ideal for garage and workshop environments. This is because it works particularly well on handheld tyre inflators and air tools which use a trailing hose application.
