All Avelair compressors are either part of the Eco range or the VSD range, but what are the differences?
The Eco range is also known as a fixed speed compressor. It will run “on load” (meaning it will compress air at full motor power) or “off load” (not compressing air at a reduced motor power). The Eco fixed speed compressor is ideal for applications where compressed air demand is fairly constant.
The VSD range is also known as a variable speed compressor. This incorporates a highly efficient inverter drive which accurately maintains the compressed air pressure based on the tasks you are doing.
