100 Litre Air Compressor FAQ's

The good news is that 100L compressors can handle a lot of different applications. In fact, you can power most standard air tools such as air drills, impact wrenches and sanders. However, we recommend buying an air compressor with 3HP (horsepower) or more to get the most out of your air tools.

Additionally, you can power spray equipment from 100L compressors, although if you are spraying vehicles all day, you may find a bigger tank size more beneficial.

Just the tank size. You may get 10 litres more in a 100L compressor, but in terms of performance there isn’t much difference.

It all depends on what you are using it for. It’s certainly big enough for home DIY projects and tinkering around in your home garage or workshop. It’s also big enough for most hobbies including car fixer-uppers. Indeed, it can even be a great addition to your garage or workshop for smaller tasks.

However, if you work in a busy garage or workshop where the use of an air compressor is needed constantly, then we recommend going for a 200L or 270L compressor.
